Kathmandu valley Day Tour

Kathmandu Day Tour

Offers the opportunity to explore different historical sites around Kathmandu city with an experienced guide. Many monuments across Kathmandu are worth exploring, but they are not doable in a day. Our tour allows us to visit sites listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. You’ll visit Patan Durbar Square, Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swyambhunath Temple.

The tour begins early in the morning and ends in the late evening. The guide will brief you about the monuments, the history surrounding them, the major historical events, and more.

There are more things to explore than we mentioned, but the tight time frame only lets you explore these sites. You can change the itinerary to suit your preferences and combine it with other heritage sites.

The Kathmandu Valley Day Tour begins after breakfast. Our tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby. Depending on the group size, we use a private vehicle to commute between the monuments.

First, you’ll visit Swayambhunath Temple, known as the Monkey Temple. Monkey Temple is on a hilltop, letting you enjoy peace and a fantastic aerial view of Kathmandu. Then, explore one ancient royal residence, Patan Durbar Square. You will witness the palaces, courtyards, shrines, museums, and local markets.

Your next stop is Pashupatinath Temple, a pilgrimage site of enormous importance to Hindus. At last, you’ll visit Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal. The soft chants and scent of incense in the air there are pure bliss.

At the end of the tour, the guide will drop you off at your hotel. If you are happy with their service, please do not forget to tip the guide and the driver.
